So it's my birthday next week and I really want to make sundaes with my friends. I will be buying the "ice cream", but I don't really know what to put on top besides the whipped stuff and syrup. Does anyone have any original ideas?

I'm trying to figure out how to make a vegan baked alaska. I know I could just use a vegan cake recipe and soy ice cream, but I don't know how to make a vegan meringue. I tried googling it, but to no avail.

My out of town vegan boyfriend is coming down this weekend and I am trying to do as much cooking beforehand as possible so that I can spend more time making love then making food. (Har har...)

So while eatting an ice cream cone this evening, I noticed on the box it says eatting it with 'ice cream' is the suggestion. That made me wonder what else could you do with an ice cream cone? i want to make my friend a vegan ice cream cake for her birthday, i know its been done before. does anyone have any recipes or anything?

I just made orange tofu "ice cream". I think the texture is a cross between an ice cream and sorbet. Perhaps it would be "creamier" if I used soy creamer instead of soy milk. But, it's still very good ..even my family was impressed with it.
